“The monsters are gone.”
“I killed the monsters. That’s what fathers do.”
― Fiona Wallace
Happy Father’s Day to all of the loving, talented, supportive, and smart dads in our lives! Where would we be without their wisdom, comedic timing, teachable moments, and friendship? The man who kills the monsters under the bed, teaches you how to ride a bike, reminds you that the world is not ending if you don’t have what “everyone else” has, gives you a little extra spending money, or guides you through becoming an adult and taking on new responsibilities. Well, that’s Dad. Brent and I are so grateful to have such wonderful fathers in our lives from our own dads to other dads in our families and friends groups who we count on, rely on and admire.
So, in the spirit of Father’s Day, I’ve included some photos of special dads who are near and dear to our hearts and a wee announcement at the end of the post. 🙂 Happy Father’s Day!
and to a very special dad to be…
Whatever you do today, I hope you will send some Father’s Day cheer to your dad or any dad in your life to encourage and thank them. Their contributions, talents, love, and support are continually enriching your life or someone you care about and that’s pretty special.
